Allen was the BEST, most helpful desk receptionist I've ever encountered at a hotel. Someone give that man a raise!!! This hotel is THE BEST location in Asheville. It's a 3-minute drive to the square, $6-$8 Lyft ride at any point (Uber is pricier -- though it is hard to find rides in AVL at times, period). You could also walk to downtown or nearby restaurants and shops. I felt very safe in the parking garage and the neighborhood area this hotel is located within. I didn't partake in breakfast since I have food allergies, so I can't speak to that. Although I didn't bring my pet this time, I love that this hotel allows pets for a very reasonable fee imo! The rooms are very nice and spacious, and there was surprising amount of storage. My king-size room had a FULL desk and couch, AND kitchenette complete with a toaster and stovetop, full fridge, real coffee pot, and microwave. I was IMPRESSED!

The breakfast was ample but mostly prepared which makes sense. I became a fan of the oatmeal bar which really elevated a breakfast staple. I admit being surprised to find a laundry on the first floor, near the registration desk and fitness center. That would certainly be a plus at the end of a trip but I was totally unprepared for a full kitchen in the room! Overall the room was a really gracious setup, plenty of plugs for recharging, multiple seating areas, lovely setup for wardrobe, made me feel a little guilty to have it all to myself. The shower is a wonder too. Now my view was of a highway but the blessing was it was sight only, not a sound intruded and the window coverings enabled multiple choices in screening.

The Staff was Extremely accommodating, specially, Sabrina at the front desk. Thank you soooo much for going even out of your way to get a very needed hair conditioner immediately , and making it very easy to extend out stay to a late check out... . The Breakfast area was immaculate, thank you, Daisy. It was a pleasure, you're truly meeting everyone with a happy attitude, nice smile and , surely all.your work was done to a perfection, food was delish, and had a variety of choices.. Thank you, all!!! We had a very pleasant stay Ohh, one more, - nice surprise-beautiful and cozy fireplace on a outside patio!!! So cute 😍!!!

We were looking for a place for a spontaneous weekend trip to Asheville. This one seemed affordable and the reviews were excellent. But what about the two-star designation? This hotel was fantastic! It’s new and clean and modern. Breakfast is great, bed comfortable, and staff very helpful. This is NOT a two-star hotel—I’d add at least one star more. It’s a 5 minute walk from downtown, and right near a Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods and Harris Teeter, so you can make good use of the well stocked kitchen. Some have complained about highway noise. We requested a rear-facing room and were not bothered at all.

The property was on the opposite side of the interstate from downtown, we were warned that to walk under the interstate was to meet beggars and sometimes people were mugged there, we found the place so easy and accessible for downtown, and found no issues walking under the interstate, to us it did feel safe. The room was comfy; everywhere was so clean; the shower was wonderful (as we love showers); coffee in room delicious; no complaints with the room. People at reception very helpful, and made us feel welcome. Breakfast basic but tasty.
